8 films to watch the weekend of July 4

It’s a bank holiday weekend, which means it takes longer to make a movie.

Many streaming services load the library, there are on-demand services such as iTunes and Amazon, and many movies are accessible with the push of a button.

Here are eight films to watch the weekend of July 4th.

“Patriot” is the story of a father arming himself with the US military and taking revenge on those who made a mistake.

Flick sees the Mel Gibson star as his father, Benjamin, who was abused by a British officer who threatened his family. As a result, he led the colonial militia during the United States War of Independence.

One of Broadway’s biggest hits in years, “Hamilton,” tells the story of America’s Founding Fathers, centered around Alexander Hamilton.

The film shows him working with Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Aaron Burr and others to free America from King George and fall in love with a celebrity.

“Hamilton” is not a traditional film as it is a live recording of a performance from the original Broadway cast.

“National treasure”

Although focused on fictional content, “National Treasure” and its sequel, “The Secret Book”, offer many nods to American history through action-adventure films.

The “national treasure” continues when Benjamin Gates embarks on a dangerous journey to erase his family name after being confused by history. His mission is to steal the Declaration of Independence, among other dangerous obstacles.

It is reported that the third film in the franchise with the original cast is in development, but it has also been reported that Disney + is developing the series with similar assumptions and a young cast.

“independence Day”

“Captain America: The First Avenger”
