The Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce has named Diana Spence as its new executive director.

Spence previously served as chamber communications manager. She replaces Sarah Grossman, who resigned after two years at the helm.

“Diana has been instrumental in the chamber’s growth and increased visibility within the community over the past year as the chamber’s communications manager,” said Dan O’Brien, president. of the chamber’s board of directors. “Diana also played a leadership role in the development of the chamber’s new website and the launch of our community gift card program, both of which will be available next month.”

Outside of journalism, he’s also a horror movie actor – usually playing the creepy villain who is gravely killed off at the end of each movie.
