Amazon’s Great Indian Festival will start on September 23 and run for 28-29 days, and Flipkart’s Big Billion Days 2022 will last for a week.

“We will have 11 lakh vendors participating in the sale of which 2 lakh are local stores. We will deliver all usable PINs to customers. The big change this year is that it will come after two years of the pandemic. business as usual,” Amazon India Vice President Noor Patel told news agency PTI.

Amazon will give Prime members early access before opening the sale to others on September 23.

Amazon, in a statement, said that “customers will be able to discover more than 2,000 new product launches and exciting deals in categories including groceries, fashion and beauty, smartphones, major appliances and televisions. , consumer electronics and many other brands such as Samsung, iQOO, LG, Xiaomi, Redmi, Tecno, BoAt, Biba, PUMA, Fastrack, Prestige, L’Oréal, Colgate, Aashirvaad and many more”.

Amazon will work with over 150 influencers to generate 600 live streams to empower customers to make an informed purchasing decision. The company said the live streams will bring live discounts during the sale which will last up to 1 week before Diwali.

Flipkart’s Big Billion Days 2022 will kick off from September 23 to September 30, 2022. The Walmart-owned e-commerce platform said customers will have the option to pre-book their products in categories including beauty, general merchandise, home, electronics and lifestyle. by paying Rs 1 as a symbolic advance.
