ISC Semester 2 Exam Preparation Tips

With less than 2 months left for the ISC Semester 2 exams, it is time for students to fast-track their exam preparation. Students should try to prepare the whole program well with two or three review rounds.

science flow

Sticking to the syllabus is an important step in passing the ISC Science exam, as the syllabus to be covered is vast and filled with data. What is important in the prescribed curriculum can be understood by solving the questions from the previous year. Watching and studying through quizzes from the last 5-10 years can be a game-changer when it comes to science subjects.

ISC sticks to what’s important each year, with many questions repeated exactly as they are or in the same pattern as in previous years. Remembering equations and formulas is very important in math, physics and chemistry exams. Special attention should be paid to organic chemistry in the chemistry article. Time should be spent wisely studying these equations well, which can help in getting good grades. Write down and study these problems, equations, and diagrams so you remember them for the exam.

Commercial component

Prepare a timetable by subject for the preparation of each subject and stick to it. Prepare for the 5 business topics each week and take one day off during the week, preferably Sunday. During practice, review all theories, terms, rules, concepts, definitions, and explanations before solving practice questions. For math and accounting, practicing more and more questions is the key to getting good grades. For economics, the ability to explain topics effectively must be acquired through practice and understanding.

Artistic component

For the ISC darts stream, reading and understanding various subjects is the most important factor in getting good grades. For History, try to retain important points and dates chronologically. And for other arts subjects, prepare with accurate information, even from books outside the curriculum. For subjects such as legal studies and mass communication, try to get additional information outside of the curriculum. Also, be updated with current events that can help students write better.
