EVI Technologies has launched its mobile app, EVI Grid, to provide one-stop EV charging solutions to its customers. The app is now available for download on the Google Play Store.

EVI Technologies, an electric vehicle charging solutions infrastructure company, has launched its mobile application to provide one-stop electric vehicle charging solutions. Billed as EVI Grid, this app is now available for download on the Google Play Store for Android users. The company claims that EVI Grid is a personalized mobile application that allows its users to find the nearby compatible EV charging point for electric vehicles.

This mobile app will help users locate nearby electric vehicle charging stations, navigation, time slot booking and online payment. It is also said to display the number of charging points available at the station, charging tariff, operator contact details, charging station status and access times. EVIT was incubated by Electropreneur Park, funded and supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India.

The company offers several EV chargers that primarily work through the process of user authentication through a mobile app after being downloaded by a verified user/operator. EVI Technologies has installed EV chargers in 17 cities including Delhi-NCR, Rampur (HP), Patna, Ranchi, Raipur, Dantewada, Hyderabad, Thane, Madurai, Trivandrum, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Haldwani, Rudrapur, Hapur, Shillong, Sonipat. EVI claims that its advanced software even allows its users to reserve a charging location by displaying the nearest available charging station via Google Maps.

Commenting on the launch of the “EVI Grid App”, Rahul Soni, Head Projects, EVIT, said, “EVI Grid is a tailor-made app for an EV user, offering multi-parameter installations. EVI Grid works on the internationally recognized technology which is based on the connection of different charging station operators (CPO) to the electric mobility service provider (eMSP) by means of Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPI). Therefore, the EV user is equipped to connect with the maximum possible chargers in a city. »

He added: “The company’s vision is to provide a user-friendly interface at every step – location, booking and payment, for every charging session. An electric vehicle owner with (2W, 3W or 4W) must register on the EV Grid app using their email ID and password and can reserve the charging slots in advance for a comfortable and convenient experience. hassle-free.
