MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) — Midland Chamber of Commerce board member Lucy Sisniega-Hoyos will be included in this year’s edition of the Hispanic Stars Rising book.

A book designed to inspire everyone by sharing Hispanic American stories and how they made it happen.

This is the third volume of the Hispanic Star.

Sisniega-Hoyos says she is thrilled to share her story and hopes it can inspire people to achieve their goals.

Sisniega-Hoyos has served Midland since 2013 as the founder of the S&S Commercial Real Estate Group.

Now, almost ten years later, she’s going to be recognized in a book that tells the story of Latinos in the United States.

The Hispanic Rising Star shares the stories of over 90 Hispanic Americans.

The aim of the book is to show Latinos in the United States the challenges and experiences they had to go through before becoming successful.

“It really feels like I did it. What I wanted to achieve in this country, I do it, and I want it to show people that they can do it. If I can do it, they can do it. do,” Sisniega-Hoyos said.

President and CEO of the Midland Chamber of Commerce, Bobby Burns has known Sisniega-Hoyos for more than two years.

He says she is the perfect example of a star.

“Lucy is a rising star. Hispanic rising star, American rising star, she’s only going up right now. She’s in the real estate business, but she really cares about holding values ​​and bringing together, I guess, Texans,” Burns said.

Besides having its own real estate group, Sisniega-Hoyos is also involved in many other groups.

She is also involved with Hospice of Midland and she is a Hispanic Republican President of Midland.

Sisniega-Hoyos was born in Mexico City, but says she came to Texas to make a difference in the community.

“I love to serve. It’s something my family taught me like everything you do, you give back to the community,” Sisniega-hoyos said.

The third volume of Hispanic Stars Rising will be available during Hispanic Heritage Month, September 15 through October 15.

Sisniega-Hoyos was also invited to a gala in New York organized by the organization “We are all Human” to honor the people of the book Hispanic Stars Rising.

Sisniega-Hoyos’ real estate experience has brought many businesses to the Permian Basin, and now she will take a time management course on the 17th to share her expertise.
