A POPULAR comic book shop in Glasgow city center will close this week after more than 30 years.
The Forbidden Planet International Outlet on Buchanan Street announced the closure on social media over the weekend.
For the occasion, everything will be reduced by 60%.
The store wrote on Facebook: “These are the last few days before we close the door to our Buchanan St outlet store FOREVER!
“Come down today and grab a bargain because EVERYTHING IS 60% OFF!!!
“Don’t worry too much, you can still find us in our Sauchiehall Street store!

Regulars expressed their sadness at the news.
One customer commented: “You were our hangout when we were all teenagers, and we never walked past without entering.
“I’ll miss you.”
A second regular wrote: “End of an era”.
And a third said, “Sad to hear.”
The chain’s Sauchiehall Street megastore, which opened in 2019, will remain open.
The Buchanan Street store was due to close following the launch of the second outlet, but was turned into an outlet for the entire chain.
It will close its doors for the last time on Wednesday, May 11.
