HARTFORD, Conn., March 10, 2022the Hartford named Keith Mather Head of Financial Lines for its International business.In this role, Mather will be responsible for building a sustainable and profitable portfolio of international retail and wholesale financial businesses, as well as the long-term growth and success of the company’s Global Specialty business. Situated at Londonhe will bereport to Hartford’s international OUC, Colin Sprott.

Before joining the HartfordMather served as UK responsible for financial lines for Generali, where he ensured portfolio balance and risk reduction in several sectors and geographies. Earlier in his career, he was European Head of Financial Lines for Liberty Specialty Market, responsible for portfolio diversification, product growth and talent development across 11 offices in Europe and the Middle East. Mather holds a Bachelor of Arts in Risk Management from Glasgow Caledonian Universityand currently resides at London.
