The Twilight Saga
Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling film series took the late 2000s and early 2010s by storm. Revisit the supernatural love story between human Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and her handsome vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) when the five episodes of the franchise – dusk, New Moon, Eclipse, Dawn of Dawn: part 1, and Dawn: Part 2 – arrive on Netflix from Friday July 16.
Global phenomenon, the Harry potter The franchise has touched on several aspects of pop culture ranging from Broadway plays to theme parks and beyond, but the films have their own magical effect on fans. Fortunately HBO Max and peacock both air all eight film franchise entries from the 2001s Harry potter and the sorcerer’s stone and ending with 2011 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. Follow Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) and his pals Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione (Emma Watson) as they work together to defeat the almighty Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes).
Fancy an adventure in a galaxy far far away? Fans of the Skywalkers and their long history can revisit all three trilogies which include – New hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, The phantom menace, Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, the force awakens, The Last Jedi, and The Rise of Skywalker – at Disney +. And if the original trilogies aren’t enough to satisfy, check out Star wars stories Thief one and Solo which are also streaming on the platform.
Marvel Cinematic Universe
Whether you are a fan of Iron Man‘s Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), a sucker for Captain America‘s Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), or a fan of Guardian of the Galaxyteam mismatch from planet to planet, there are a wide variety of Marvel options available on Disney +. One of the more recent films in the collection is the Scarlett Johansson film Black Widow, which debuts in Premier Access starting Friday, July 9.
the Lord of the Rings
The epic of director Peter Jackson the Lord of the Rings trilogy composed of The Fellowship of the Ring, The two towers, and The king’s return are all available in their original format as well as in extended versions at HBO Max. Follow Hobbit Frodo (Elijah Wood) and his friends as they attempt to save Middle-earth in the beloved films based on the books by JRR Tolkien.
Calling all Trekkies – Paramount + houses several of the Star Trek films, including the original 1979 film starring favorites Leonard Nimoy as Spock and William Shatner as Captain Kirk. If the latest movies are your thing, check out the ones from 2016 Star Trek: Beyond which features Chris Pine in the role previously inhabited by Shatner.
Not a Marvel fan? HBO Max is your first place to catch Batman favorites Michael Keaton, Christian Bale and Ben Affleck as well as Wonder woman Diana Prince (Gal Gadot and Linda Carter). Of Zack Snyder Justice League at Suicide Squad, the platform is stacked with options.
